COLUMBIA — The Columbia housing market has been listed among the nation’s top 10 for 2023, highlighting its stability and relative affordability.
It was ranked at No. 8 nationally by Realtor.com, the home sale website, in a list released Dec. 7.
For November, the site listed Columbia as having a median home price of $300,000, with a price increase of 6.3 percent in the past 12 months.
With its list, Realtor.com highlighted what it called an increasing trend among homebuyers to look toward midsized cities where housing is more affordable instead of major metros where prices have skyrocketed.
